Rory McIlroy and the Quail Hollow Championship

May 2, 2010 — Rory McIlroy recorded his first PGA win after shooting 62 in the final round of the Quail Hollow Championship. This makes him the first player since Tiger Woods to win a PGA event  before his 21st birthday. He played his last flive hole in 5 under, including a 5-ron to 3 feet for an eagle on the 15th hole, giving him the lead to the finish. This is the second victory of his career and his first in America.
